Hello everyone,

Andy and Mitch here with some new news about our site Splatclick. Splatclick has kind of died off, though our passion for technology hasn’t. As some of you know you can always find us on our youtube channels. Andy’s you can find here and Mitch’s you can find here we apreciate everyone checking out our channels.

Now on to Andy’s new project. Recently Andy has been working on his channel Touch N’ Click. Andy has been making themes for Jailbroken iPod user’s. You can see that at Deviant Art.

Apple Tablet To Be Named iSlate?

A persons impression of what the apple tablet will be.

As you may know there have been roumors that apple may be coming out with a tablet laptop. Well, those roumors are seeming like facts now. Apple is now trying to purchase the iSlate trademark, and they are getting a company to make 10 inch glass pannels, most likely what will be on top of the touch screen.

Lucas Ordonez in his new official racing uniform

Games are defiantly not just for fun. At lease Lucas Ordoñez knows that now.
Lucas always has a dream of being a great race car driver. Through the years the dream slipped through his fingers and he gave up and went for his Master of Business Administration degree (MBA). Lucas still stayed with the dream still racing virtually on his Sony PS3. Until Sony was looking for there best virtual driver. Lucas beat almost 25,000 of his fellow virtual racers, giving him the chance to represent his country, Spain, at a special camp which helps the virtual players transition their skills to real racing.
The Camp was amazed to see how great Lucas’ skills were and was eligible to race like he does virtually.
Lucas still continued to go at his MBA and also got a personal trainer to help him adapt to the G-force you experience as a racer.
Through weekends Lucas entered small Euro races so he could obtain his international C license.
Lucas finally received his C license and immediately was off (with his Nissan 250Z) to the GTA Dubai 24 Hour race in 2009 and He received 9th place.
Sony, being very impressed by the success of Lucas is holding a larger 2010 GT Academy.
Just like what happened with Lucas, the winner will be able to driver a Nissan 370z.

Windows 7′s boot up isn’t any impresive over Vista.

It is said that the new Windows 7 has been said for faster booting up and shutting down then previous OS.
Though, lolo Technologies, said their lab takes 1:34 to be usable. Vista takes 1:06 to be usable. So vista comes on top.
Though, personally I think that once Microsoft see’s this discussion on the boot up times Microsoft will minimize the time to boot up. Hopefully.
Many people would like to see Microsoft pollish up Vista and create that as the windows 7. Things are not looking so good on that. Lets hope Microsoft gets on top of that.

Windows Mobile App Store?

Microsoft have officially released there new line of mobile 6.5 phones with a new My Phone App store.
The store is similar to the competition, Iphone, and BlackBerry. The marketplace will soon be on the web and mobile. For now, phone only.
A nice advantage of the Marketplace is if your not satisfied with your app you will get a total refund if returned in 24hours.

People have said the app store isn’t the greatest. Or visually boring to some people. Microsoft already has 82 games available for Microsoft Phone users. Microsoft has already gotten the social apps including Facebook, Microsoft’s Netflix, Windows Live, and music. Apps range from $0.00 to $25.00, so far. If you do not want to get a new phone the My Phone is available for 6.0 and 6.1 users.
The My Phone store allows you to store 200MB. Though Microsoft has said that less that 5 percent have already used that.

Apple Rocks It Up To The Next Beat

Apple has released there newest set of Apple Nanos, the new Ipod Nano 5th generation. Apple has keep those simple applications. Including the alarms, calender, clocks, contacts, games, notes etc.

Though the Apple Nano has token one of the most loved thing about the Ipod touch a integrated speaker. The integrated speaker has nice sound quality and can go pretty loud. The integrated speaker is not viewable but instead comes out of crack and the headphone jack of the Nano.

Another new feature is the video camera, the Nano can now take video captures. The video is nice quality with great sound. The video camera can take videos only, no still pictures unfortunately. Another nice feature is the video effects, you can add real time video effects to your video capture. Including Bulge, Motion Blur, Mirror, Film Grain, Thermal and so on.

The Ipod Nano also brought the FM radio to the show, the Nano can now pause, watch FM radio. No antenna is required as the antenna is in built in with the Apple headphones. The FM radio also shows the name of the radio station for easier access to FM channels.

The Nano also added the new pedometer which counts footsteps, calories loss, and weight. All built in.

For some, this might come in might handy, the new voice captures. The new voice captures lets you record voice. It also lets you created new chapters with one easy click. This can come in handy for lessons in school for recording. Once gone to a new class all you need to do is press the middle button and it will create a new chapter. Easy as that.

Media and Magazines Step Up

New Magazine Advertisement

Entertainment Weekly, and American magazine has stepped up to a new level of advertising. Not your basic, pop out color page advertisement.

A moving, chip, screen, video advertisement.

This advertisement consists of a small piece of cardboard which has been inserted to the copies which holds about a 2 inch thin screen. The advertisement is a Pepsi max and the American TV Network short video. The video starts once the page is flipped the clip that has been inserted to the copies can hold approximately 40 minutes of footage.

Chief marketing officer, Frank Cooper, from Pepsi says “This is an extraordinary way to refresh how we interact with consumers.”
